as i am blogging...my 22 month old hell-on-wheels-angel baby is sitting on her daddy's chest wearing her bathing suit (bc that's what we will wear everyday, all day this summer), with a dirty diaper, dropping one of her brother's bouncy balls on his chest while he's TRYING to take a nap because he was frog-giggin' til 4 a.m. now what part of that seems to be MY problem?! i'm thinking none of it...i knew you would agree. we've had a busy weekend. my main-man john david (a.k.a-jd cross...which is his bullriding name that he came up with by himself) graduated kindergarten. he's an official 1st grader. wow. saturday he had a ballgame which they lost by 1 point in the last inning. i was a mess. i hate to lose. especially when they couldn't have played any better. just ask the bff & sosie...they were there sweating in the 10 a.m. heatwave with me. that's a true friend folks. left there, got my tan on because my month is almost out and i MUST take advantage of the "unlimited" aspect of it. ate a quick lunch, took a bath and got my hair did for a family wedding because i'm too lazy to try and do it myself. john david went home from the ballgame with his dad while hadley and dusty went to conway with his parents for a "honey-do" shower we hosted for his cousin. FYI- the hubby just yelled "you haven't changed her diaper?" "are you serious?!" and i respond calmy with "nope" and laugh silently to myself. k back to yesterday....left at 3:30 with my grandmother & aunt for my cousin Smith's wedding in Stephens which was fabulous and we had the BEST time ever! i saw lots of old little ladies who either thought i was my mother (she was being a road-whore on the motorcyle with my step-dad at some rally in lafayette (pit of hell), louisiana, or would say, "oh my gosh, holly moe, i haven't seen you since you were this little (and measure me to the ground)." it was gorgeous and at the same church my g-parents, mom and aunt & uncle got married in. i love that small town even though it is somewhat going downhill...it's just something about knowing everyone and being related to EVERYONE. i love it and it's memories...especially of both sets of my grandparents. ok i'm getting sad thinking about that so here are some pictures because i do HATE post's without pictures. boring.
my graduate and i...i'm SO PROUD OF HIM!

our cousin max & john david...he loves max and so looks up to him

mrs. lindsey and the best student ever who got a smiley face ever day of his kindergarten career

the crazy family minus some people because it was so crowded down in the classroom

john david and miss hadley monroe...they really are best friends

my aunt darla & i at the reception

darla, ruby begonia & myself

after the wedding we visited my grandfather John David Turner (who my angel baby john david is named after)

both grandfathers were the best men i've ever known!
and then my other grandfather Grady Arrington

we've had a wonderful weekend! hope yours was too...i now have to go wash "miss thangs" sheets because "here you wash this...she finally went to the bathroom and it's all over her sheets holly." so you gather what you will from that statement! hahahaha! loves!
